  We visited several local churches a few years ago and were struck by the warm welcome we received at Parkway Community Church. As we became involved in the life of the church, we got to know many people who really live their faith.
  
  Parkway offers many opportunities to make new friends -- and make a difference in the community through church-sponsored activities and events (you've probably noticed the annual "Pumpkin Patch" in October).
  
  Our recommendation would be try Parkway for Sunday worship, 10 AM. Stay for coffee afterward. Come to an event or two, get to know some of the people here. You might just find a new church home ... as we did.

  Families Connect to Community. We started attending Parkway Community Church three years ago when we moved to Nassau County and were looking for a church where our young children could attend Sunday School and learn core Christian values. What I did not expect were the deep connections our family would make in the community through the members of Parkway Community Church. There are many activities to participate in that benefit you spiritually and that also contribute to those in need locally, nationally and internationally. How you participate at Parkway is up to you and your interests and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. At minimum, families with young children will feel very welcomed here and your child will be provided with a solid spiritual foundation. Our lives are much richer for being members of Parkway Community Church. So if you are looking for a way to connect with your community, stop by for worship on a Sunday, listen, chat, and just see if it is a good fit for you.
